The shaker runs up through 65 Hertz and the tune bar mounted transducer feedbacks to the computer information about the line. The information is automatically calculated within the computer system and the SFT result is given. The SFT result is accurate to within +/- 2 degrees centigrade. At the end of a days testing the results may be downloaded into a database and emailed off.
